COO

Juli Davis

Juli’s love for horses began in Scotland at the age of 6 where she represented her pony club at Dressage, Show Jumping and Eventing.
At 11 years old Juli moved to East Sussex where she became a member of the Eventing and Show Jumping Pony Club Teams, competing around the country and finishing 2nd at Hickstead team Show Jumping finals in 1994.

She competed successfully in British Horses Society One- and Three-Day Eventing, major achievements include being the Senior Individual Event Champion 1997 at Weston Park, winner of Lulworth Castle CIC* 2001, 11th Osberton Young Riders CCI** 1997 Championships and winning or placed in over 50 one and three day event competitions around the UK between 1994 – 2003.

In 2001 Juli ventured into the corporate and business world, having gained so much experience about the running and management of equestrian competition yards she recognised the need for funding and significant amounts of it! She finally retired from competition riding in 2003 to focus on the world of finance.

Juli moved to London where she worked for Lloyds Banking Group for 9 years until 2009, she then set up her own consultancy which took her all over the world consulting with wealth management houses, investment banks, private banks and sovereign wealth funds. In 2015 Juli moved to the UAE to work for the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and in 2018 set up her own consultancy where she remains until today. Juli, along with one other angel investor group, was instrumental in raising the initial seed funding for EqueTronic that took an idea and concept to production and sale.

“It has been an incredible journey so far, the ups and downs of any new start-up has meant sleepless nights, adjusting our sails and listening to our equestrian colleagues invaluable feedback and advice. We are now delighted to launch the first EqueTronic devices into the racing world and are ready to truly delight our clients’.
